The HTA Council positively recommends Visual Acetic Acid (VIA) for financing of the Department of Health (DOH) and/or PhilHealth. VIA is recommended for cervical cancer screening in women ages 30-65 years every 3 years, in settings wherein HPV DNA testing is still not operational (See below for more details).
