Prof. Soledad Natalia M. Dalisay completed her BA, MA and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of the Philippines in Diliman where she currently serves as a professor. She is the Director of the Third World Studies Center in the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy. Prof. Sol worked in the fields of Medical Anthropology, Gender and Sexuality, and the Anthropology of Disaster research.  She also handles courses for students enrolled in the Medical Anthropology program of the Social Medicine Unit of the UP College of Medicine.
