Dr. Shiela Marie S. Laviña is  the Vice-Chair for Research, Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital.  She finished residency training in Family and Community Medicine and is now a Medical Specialist III-PT at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital. Currently, she is a technical reviewer for research of residents and faculty, research advisor and an EBM advocate.
