PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERT

Dr. Cayad-an is a public health specialist with more than 37 years of experience and expertise in program policy, strategy and standards development; evidence-based advocacy; and program planning, management, implementation, and oversight within the health care system building/strengthening platform. She started as a Municipal Health Officer and gradually rose from the rank up to a Regional Health Director level. She joined UNICEF as Health Specialist, after her 19 years in government service. Upon her retirement from UNICEF, she served as Deputy Chief of Party for the Jhpiego’s Mindanao Health USAID-funded Project.
