Dr. Maria Minerva Calimag is currently Professor 5 at the Department of Pharmacology, Anesthesiology and Clinical Epidemiology,  Faculty of Medicine and Surgery,  University of Santo Tomas. She is a  member of the CHED Technical Committee on Medical Education, Philippine Association of Medical Journal Editors (PAMJE). Her other notable organizational memberships are the following: Philippine Medical Association (PMA), Asian and Oceanic Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (AOSRA-PM); Medical Association of Southeast Asian Nations (MASEAN), Confederation of Medical Association of Asia and Oceania (CMAAO), and the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (APAME).
