Dr. Lizette Kristine F. Lopez is an assistant professor at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She obtained her MD with honors from the University of Santo Tomas and her Master of Public Health from the UP Manila College of Public Health. She finished her Residency in Internal Medicine in Richmond University Medical Center (an affiliate of Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai) in Staten Island, New York and her Fellowship in Endocrinology at the College of Medicine-Phoenix Program, University of Arizona. She is a Diplomate of the Philippine College of Physicians and the American Board of Internal Medicine, as well as a fellow of the Philippine College of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism (PCEDM). She is the research coordinator of the Training Committee of the Internal Medicine Residency Program of The Medical City, an alternate member of the Research Ethics Committee of the UST Hospital, and a consultant in Internal Medicine- Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The Medical City Ortigas and the University of Santo Tomas Hospital.
