Mr. Christopher Muñoz has been a patient advocate since 2010. He served as President of Yellow Warriors Society Philippines (YWSP), Inc. for several years and currently serves as an advisor. He is also a part of Coalition to Eradicate Viral Hepatitis in Asia Pacific (CEVHAP) and has been a board member of World Health Assembly (WHA). Currently, he is serving as a Member of the Regional Validation Advisory Group on elimination of mother-to-child transmission (EMTCT) of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B, and Syphilis, as well as the Accelerated Control of Viral Hepatitis in the World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific Region. Additionally, he is a member of the Advisory Council for the Implementation of RA No. 9502 (Cheaper & Quality Medicines). He currently holds the position of Vice President of the Philippine Alliance of Patient Organizations (PAPO), a unifying body that supports and strengthens patient organizations. Furthermore, he is a University of the Philippines Manila Research Ethics Board (UPMREB) Review Panel member and an active member of the Health Technology Assessment International and International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR).
