Atty. Bu C. Castro is a physician-lawyer-pathologist and a medico-legal consultant of various institutions. He was a former member of the Formulary Executive Council (FEC) and the past President of the Philippine Medical Association (PMA), Philippine Hospital Association (PHA), Philippine Society of Pathologists, Inc (PSP), and  Founding President of the Association of Allied Health Organizations of the Nation (AAHON). He is a retired professor of various medical colleges. He is the medical director of Bernardino General Hospital II.
