Agnette dP. Peralta, MSc, FIOMP

Prof. Agnette dP. Peralta is a medical physicist who worked for the Department of Health (DOH) for forty-two years, mainly with the Radiation Health Service, which became the Center for Device Regulation, Radiation Health and Research of the Food and Drug Administration. She retired from the DOH as an Assistant Secretary of Health.

She graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science major in Physics degree and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Master of Science in Medical Physics degree. 

She is currently a professorial lecturer in the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School Medical Physics Program. She also lectures occasionally  in the Ateneo de Manila University School of Government. She is a fellow of the International Organization for Medical Physics. She was honored as one of the Outstanding Medical Physicists in Asia-Oceania for the past twenty years by the Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics in 2020.
