As final recommendation, the HTA Council recommends the inclusion of Nicotine polacrilex [1 mg and 2 mg pastille, 1 mg and 2 mg gum] for use as aid to decrease withdrawal symptoms triggered by tobacco cessation (smoking and smokeless tobacco products) in the Philippine National Formulary (PNF).
