The Secretary of Health (SOH) concurs with the final recommendation of the HTA Council on multiple micronutrient supplement (MMS) film-coated tablet for the prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies, improvement of iron status, and reduction of anemia among pregnant and lactating women through Department of Health (DOH) Department Circular No. 2025-0094-A “Inclusion of Multiple Micronutrient Supplement Capsule in the Philippine National Drug Formulary” published on 31 March 2026.

As a final recommendation, the HTA Council recommends the government financing of MMS film-coated tablets for the prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies, improvement of iron status, and reduction of anemia among pregnant and lactating women.
