MA. CARMEN CORNELIA-TOLABING, DRPH

PUBLIC HEALTH EPIDEMIOLOGIST


Dr. Ma. Carmen Cornelia-Tolabing is a Public Health professional with specialization in Epidemiology. She is a professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) where she teaches Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Research.  She is a holder of an undergraduate and graduate degrees in Public Health (BSPH, MPH, DrPH) with graduate specialization in Epidemiology. She has been a consultant of the DOST-PCHRD in  its  institutional capacity  building program as well as in its research grant program as technical reviewer for about 14 years now. She is currently a member of the National Ethics Committee, National Research Council of the Philippine, DOST-PCHRD Technical Working Group on Mental Health,  Technology Assessment Council-Core Committee, and the Covid-19 HL Consortium. She is Vice President of the Asia Health Literacy Association (AHLA) and Deputy Director of the AHLA Country Office.
